Preparation
To prepare your crostino peperino, start with the bruschetta.
Take the baguette and cut it into slices about 2cm thick. You will need to get about 12 slices. Arrange them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and sprinkle them with a drizzle of oil. Add a pinch of salt and the previously finely chopped rosemary to the bruschetta.
Bake in grill mode at 240 ° C for about 2-3 minutes until they get the typical golden color. Then take the bruschetta out of the oven and set aside.
At this point we can start with the filling! There are many ways to use our Peperina Sauce.
You can add it to the still hot bruschetta directly from its jar to fully enjoy its strong and spicy flavor.
Or you can mix it with a little of tuna creating a coarse cream before placing it on the crunchy bruschetta.
You can combine it with a teaspoon of mayonnaise to slightly decrease its spiciness or mix it with crumbled hard-boiled eggs!
In short, the combinations are so many and all tasty!
Once you have added the Peperina Sauce with your favorite pairing to the bruschetta, garnish it with herbs and capers to taste and serve!
Happy Aperitif!
